WHO CAN PLAY FOR
SANTA MONICA VIKINGS LACROSSE

1.) At this time, the team is open to any current high school student from the Santa Monica area. 

2.) All players will have an equal opportunity to earn a spot on the varsity roster.  Every player on the JV roster will play as long as they attend the scheduled team practices.  

3.) All players must provide their own equipment. 

4.) All players must complete all of the required paperwork and pay all required fees.  (Because dues are based on league fees and the number of participants, there are no refunds.)

5.) All players must attend every scheduled practice.  Game time will be reduced by the number of practices missed for varsity and JV players. 

6.) The team travels within the Southern California region and possibly other cities outside Southern California region depending on our schedule.  All players must be able to travel with the team on weekends - including Saturday and possible overnight if we play out of State Tournaments. 

7.) Every player must commit to the team regardless of their high school.  Lacrosse is built upon a foundation of unity and sportsmanship.  The Santa Monica Vikings Lacrosse program honors those principles.

    A.) All players must respect this team as a varsity club.

    B.) All players must follow the current Code of Conduct Policy.

Vikings Lacrosse Fall Program

We are happy to announce our schedule for Fall 2012 High School Lacrosse. 

Vikings Lacrosse is open to any and all Santa Monica area high school boys. (High school girls...please email me if your are interested in playing.) 

We will have practices 3 days per week starting the week of September 10^th.  The schedule is as follows:

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 6PM at Crescent Bay Park (Bay Street Beach)

Saturdays from 7 to 10PM at John Adams Middle School.

We will set up scrimmages with other teams as they are available.

I have emailed parents and current players the registration forms which need to be in to Chris Carrico (along with your payment) no later than Saturday, September 8^th.

Please encourage your other friends to come give lacrosse a try.  Fall is a great time to learn the basics…before the Spring Season!!

International Diversity Lacrosse Council Summer Lacrosse Clinic

Our Vikings Lacrosse Head Coach and the International Diversity Lacrosse Council will be hosting a 4-day lacrosse clinic/camp with an amazing cast of coaches.  This day camp offers both experienced and brand new boys and girls the opportunity to hone their skills in the fastest game on two feet!

Santa Monica Vikings High School Lacrosse

After an amazing trip to Santa Rosa and competing in the State Championships... Summer Lacrosse Is Now Open For Registration!

This summer we will be offering a 6 week long program with 1 practice and 1 to 2 games per week for incoming 9^th through 12^th grade boys.  The summer session will begin on Tuesday July 10^th with our first game.  August 2^nd will be the final game of the season.

Practices will be held at Santa Monica High School (on the turf field) from 5PM to 8PM every Tuesday.  We will also have home games (also at SAMOHI) every Thursday night from 5PM to 8PM.  There will also be some away games to be held at Beverly Hills HS and/or Culver City HS on some Wednesdays, tba.

We will be playing teams including; Beverly Hills, Palisades (A & B), Loyola, Thousand Oaks, Palos Verdes, St. John Bosco & Malibu.

Registration for the summer program is $350 for the season of 8 to 10 games.  Checks can be dropped off or mailed to our General Manager, Chris Carrico.  (Please email him for his address if you do not have it.)

We will also be hosting a day camp/clinic from August 9^th through 12^th held at John Adams Middle School for an additional cost.  This camp will be a joint effort between Santa Monica Vikings Lacrosse and The International Diversity Lacrosse Council.  Details on guest coaches and the schedule will be announced soon.

Santa Monica Is On The Map For Lacrosse!!

Santa Monica Vikings Lacrosse’s Varsity team has made it to the State Championship!!

Coming in a close second to Oceanside United last week, we have secured our spot to play for the State title.  This Friday (6/1) we will head up to Santa Rosa for the weekend where we will play against South Valley (#1), Pleasant Grove (#2) and Oceanside (#3) for the Championship!

We are all very excited to have the winning record that we do and for the opportunity to be able to travel up north for the State Championship.
