We are excited to announce to you all today that we are fortunate enough to have just acquired, All-American and nominated to the California Lacrosse Hall Of Fame, Ryland Huyghue as our new Head Coach. Ryland has come to us with 40+ years experience playing & coaching lacrosse. Recently Ryland served as head coach at Cal State Fullerton and most recently at U.C. Irvine. His full bio is on the Coaches tab on our website for those of you who would like to read his full credentials.
WITH THE ADDITION OF RYLAND, OUR SUMMER PROGRAM IS GOING TO BE UNBELIEVABLE! DO NOT MISS OUT ON GETTING IN AT THE BEGINNING OF THE RYLAND ERA!
Coaches Ryland Huyghue (Coach from U.C. Irvine & Cal State Fullerton), Aaron Myers (Coach from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo) & S.M. Vikings Lacrosse Director Jeff Townsend will coach this program and we will be part of a league of 20 high school teams. We will be practicing at John Adams Middle School Tuesdays & Thursdays from 5PM to 8PM and games will be held at JAMS and other area schools. Palisades High School’s summer team will also be practicing along side of us at JAMS!
The summer league dues will be $250 per player (which will cover the league dues, coaching, ref fees, practice fields & jerseys.) We wanted to make this program affordable as we anticipate that not everyone will be able to make every practice or game.
